How Wheel Lip Polishing with Powder Coating is Done

To achieve a deep, flawless finish across various color options, we follow a comprehensive 3-coat process with successive oven curing cycles, combined with specialized mirror lip polishing:

Wheel Inspection & Straightening

Before beginning the painting process, we check that the wheel is completely straight and free of cracks. If needed, alloy wheel repair is performed first for maximum safety.

Glass Bead Blasting (Stripping)

We clean and prep the aluminum surface using fine glass bead blasting, completely stripping old paint layers to create a smooth, pristine foundation.

Primer Application

We apply a specialized corrosion-resistant primer that ensures superior powder adhesion to the alloy surface and protects against high brake temperatures.

1st Oven Curing

The wheel is placed in the curing oven to bake and permanently bond the primer layer to the metal.

Powder Color Application

We electrostatically spray the powder coat of your choice, evenly covering the spokes, recesses, and inner barrel of the wheel.

2nd Oven Curing

The wheel is cured in the oven once again so the powder color melts, levels, and reaches maximum structural durability.

Wheel Lip Polishing

The outer rim lip is polished to a brilliant mirror finish using specialized high-speed thermal polishing brushes.

Protective Clear Coat (Gloss or Matte)

We apply the protective clear coat of your choice, Gloss or Matte, sealing the polished lip and paint against oxidation and road chemicals.

3rd Oven Curing & Final Set

With the third and final oven cure, the clear coat hardens into a rock-solid, durable, factory-grade finish.

Final Inspection & FREE Wheel Balancing

We remount the tyre and perform precise electronic wheel balancing completely free of charge for smooth, vibration-free driving.
